Fragmentary information seems to warrant the statement that George Anders [E 27] was married three times. By his first marriage he had a daughter, Regina [E 174], who was the wife of Melchior Meschter [E 66]; as a widower he married, Nov. 8, 1718, ANNA NEUMAN, who died Dec. 29, 1726; his third wife was MARIA REINWALD, born about 1707; daughter of George Reinivald [33]; to whom he was married, July 26, 1729, and by whom he had a daughter Maria, as above stated.
"George Anders, widower, m Maria, youngest dau of George Reinwald, sister of George Reinwald of Berthelsdorf, July 26, 1729." [E. E. S. J.]
"Dec. 29, 1726, starb frith urn 6, Frau Anna geb. Neuman, George Anders Schlesischer Einwohners all hier, Ehefrau, alt 50 jahre; ward den, 2 Januar begraben mit einer Collette." [Berthelsdorf Ch. Bk.]
"Nov. 8, 1718, George Anders ein witwer von Armenruh mit Jgfr. Anna Neumannin von der (Copulati)." [ Harpersdorf Ch. Bk.]
The records also state: "George Anders with wife and three children fled from Armenruh." "Des alien Andersen Witwe zu Towamensing ist den 8ten Nov., 1757 auch gestorben." [Perk. Reg., Vol. III, p 109.]
Another account of the death of George Anders states: "His child was 6 weeks old less 2 days at the time of his death."
His will drawn up Sept., 1737, and witnessed by George Weiss and Hans Wiegner shows that he had very little personal property and probably no real estate. He mentions his wife as "Mein Weib, Maria Andersin" and "Melcher Meschter, Tochterman."
