[11-48] ANTHONY KRAUSS, b May 23, 1803; d Jan. 24, 1852; s John and Rosina (Yeakel) Krauss [11-17]; m May 17, 1825, SARAH YEAKEL, 6b May 19, 1805; d Apr. 24, 1874; dau Isaac and Regina (Schultz) Yeakel [160-4]. Anthony Krauss was engaged in building agricultural implements, following also the profession of surveying of land as a community service. Having obtained a liberal education he was friend and counsellor to rich and poor. He lived near Kraussdale, Pa.
