Elizabeth Heebner, relict of John Heebner, Norriton, made a will dated Dec. 7, 1886; prob. Feb. 18, 1845, in which she speaks of her daughter Barbara, wife of Isaac Stauffer, and her grandson, John Hoffman.
Susanna Heebner died intestate, without issue, in 1831, leaving mother, and one sister, Barbara, ‘who married Isaae Stauffer. She bequeathed a half interest in a tract of 95 acres which descended to her from her father, John Heebner. In Feb., 1837, this tract was sold to Isaac Stauffer.
In 1866, Susanna Stauffer, widow of Isaac Stauffer, renounced her right to administration of her husband’s estate. Collateral inheritance tax was paid. John Hoffman as administrator was trustee of fund for use of Samuel Stauffer of Macungie, father of Isaac Stauffer.
According to Bean’s ‘“‘History of Montg. Co.,” 1884, Barbara Heebner, daughter of John and Elizabeth Heebner, married Jacob Hoffman; he died in a short time and the widow then married Isaac Stauffer. It seems that Isaac Stauffer married a second time, Susanna —————, according to the above renouncement.
