At the first meeting the following officers were elected to serve as an executive committee to arrange for further meetings:

President—Howard W. Kriebel Vice-President—Henry S. Kriebel

Secretary—Charles K. Heebner Treasurer—George Kriebel, Jr.

It is interesting to note that at this first meeting the following resolution was adopted:

Annual meetings have been held ever since, and the association has been interested in the collection and preservation of genealogical data as well as family history. ‘‘All persons by the name of Kriebel, all descendants of Kriebels, and their families shall be eligible to active membership.” Annual meetings are generally held on the last Saturday in August of each year. These meetings are generally held on or near one of the original Kriebel homesteads.
