INVENTORY OF PERSONAL ESTATE OF ABIGAIL OVERHOLTZER. Dec’p, LATE ABIGAIL YEAKLE. Aug. 31, 1825. Filed 1828. [Adm. No. 14:54]

The Petition of Abraham Heydrick, Humphrey White, and Abraham Yeakle, relatives and next friends of the minor children of Abigail Overholt, one of the daughters and heirs of Abraham Yeakle, dec’d, respectfully showeth that the said minors are entitled to a considerable estate in right of their deceased mother, Abigail Overholt * That the mother of the said Minors is deceased and the father of the said Minors, John Overholt, has taken out Letters of Administration on her Estate and is about to receive the whole amount of the Estate. That the said John Overholt has expressed his determination to remove to Canada; his children now are destitute of support.

The securities given by the said John Overholtz on his administration bond are insufficient: that the said John Overholtz is subject to intemperance and that it is believed by your Petitioners that if the Estate hapen into his hand the whole will be lost to the Heirs.

Your Petitioners believe and have been so advised that the portion of the estate arising from the estate of Abraham Yeakle, the grandfather, legally belongs to children of the wife of the said John Overholtz, and that he as administrator or in no other way in his own right has any claim to the estate.

Petition for citation to increase security, Oct. 31, 1825.
