[49-166] HENRY HARTRANFT, b Dec. 27, 1825; d Oct., 1892; s Elizabeth (Kiler) Hartranft [49-49]; m 1846, LYDIA ANN ULARY, b Jan. 21, 1826; d Jan. 3, 1880. Amongst Henry Hartranft’s papers was a list of deaths including that of Elizabeth Kiler Hartranft, his mother, who made her home with him. In his Bible was written ‘‘Union Sunday School, Coleraine.”’ Tradition states that he was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., and after the death of his father was brought to Philadelphia and placed among strangers as was his brother Daniel.
