Children (7):
Caspar Seipt lived in Towamencin Twp., buying his father’s homestead of 135 Acres in 1750. His will was written Dec. 8, 1773, in which he requested that his family should live together on the farm till his eldest son was of age, which did not occur until 1778, when the property was to be sold. All of his children were minors at the time of his death. The sum of twenty pounds each was left to the sons, David and Abraham; the residue was to be equally divided among all the children. His mother Judith, was to be supported free of charge; she died in 1775. His mother-in-law, Mary Yeakel, who lived in a separate house on the premises, was to have certain privileges. The widow and two brothers-in-law, John Yeakel and Baltzer Rinewalt, were made executors. In the assessment of 1776, Rosina Seipt was credited with 135 A., 3 houses, and 5 cows. [E. M.]
