D, b June 10, 1840; d Dec. 15, 1891; s Samuel and Susanna (Sehultz) Gerhard [59-16]; m Sept. 4, 1866, AMELIA JOANETTA PILGRAM, b Dec. 30, 1840; d Aug. 18, 1910; dau Mr. Pilgram and his wife, Christiana. Abraham Schultz Gerhard, A. M., M. D., was one of the founders of the Medico-Chirurgical College of Philadelphia and was a member of the faculty until his death. Dr. Gerhard was a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, Pa., and also a graduate of the Medical Department of the University of Pennsylvania.
