[62-19] REV. WILLIAM HENRY ALTHOUSE, b Sept. 21, 1858; s Henry and Juliana (Myers) Althouse [62-7]; m June 12, 1886, CATHARINE D. SIEVERS, b Dec. 12, 1866; dau Henry and Catherine (Hinrichs) Sievers. Evarigelical preacher; res., Porterville, Cal. (1919.) Rev. William H. Althouse was an active minister of the Evangelical Church from 1881 to 1914, when he retired on account of deafness. He was a school teacher in Iowa and Nebraska from 1876 to 1881; he preached in Nebraska from 1881 to 1897, and in California from 1897 to 1914.
