[66-17] IDA CLEMMER MESCHTER, b Aug. 3, 1881; dau Charles Y. and Matilda B. (Clemmer) Mesehter [66-12]; m June 26, 1907, REV. JEREMIAH ALLEN SWINGLE, b Sept. 24, 1880; s Jeremiah and Hannah (Corey) Swingle.

Rev. Swingle was born at South Canaan, Wayne Co., Pa. In 1906 he was graduated from the Biblical Department of the New York Missionary Training Institute with high honors. He served as secretary and physical director in the Army Y. M. C. A., at Fortress Monroe during 1906. Rev. Swingle was pastor at Windham, Pa.in 1908, and two years later served as missionary pastor at Clemons, N.Y. On Jan. 25, 1910, he was ordained -by the Baptist Council, and served as pastor of the Norristown Schwenkfelder Church from 1912 to 1914. At the present time Rev. Swingle is pastor of a church at Northville, N. Y. (1920.)
