[66-30] CYRUS KRIEBLE MESCHTER, b Mar. 14, 1869; s Rev. Geo. K. and Mary Ann (Krieble) Meschter [66-14]; m 1891, ELLA B. CASSEL, b Jan. 3, 1871; dau Abraham M. and Catharine (Bleam) Cassel. Mr. Meschter is a farmer and lives on the old homestead of his father near Center Point, Pa. He is also an authority on private cemeteries, especially those in which Schwenkfelder descendants are buried. It is primarily through his agitation that the private cemeteries located on various former Schwenkfelder homesteads are now under the eare of the church and are kept in good condition.
Mr. Meschter has copied many tombstone inscriptions and put them at the disposal of the editor of this work, thus assisting very materially in the compilation of this record. He has also written a number of articles on Schwenkfelder homesteads which were published in ‘‘The Schwenkfeldian.”’
