BROWNLEE, b 1842; d July 25, 1863; s Alexander and Nancy (Doke) Brownlee. (Lelia Brownlee Friend gives marriage date as Mar. 4, 1860.] School teacher, Greenville, Va. William H. Brownlee was wounded in the Battle of Gettysburg; died a few days later.
