In 1830 a George Shultz of Augusta Co., Va., was in custody of the Sheriff of said Co.; he had sold interest in a tract of land, late the property of Matthias Swink who died intestate, 14 of which property descended to Rachel, a daughter and the wife of George Shultz. Above family is made up on basis of this record. ,
According to Mrs. Cunningham this George Shultz was the father of Thomas C. Shultz who was the father of John H. Shultz, of Spottsylvania, Va. It has been impossible to complete or verify this data.
It would seem that this George must have been either a son of George [7-5] or David [7-6].
