John Miller wasa grandson of Rev. John Philip Leidich; he began housekeeping in Marlborough Twp., near Sumneytown, where eleven of his children were born. He subsequently bought the mill property near Pughtown, Chester Co., Pa., where he moved in 1829 ,and where he died in 1839. [Nyce Papers]
