Rev. Alfred Heebner was born at Port Carbon, Pa. He attended the public schools of the community, and prepared for college at Blairstown Academy. He entered Lafayette College from which he was graduated in 1876. Mr. Heebner then entered the Philadelphia M. E. He was a fine Christian gentleman, loved by all who knew him. He died very suddenly of apoplexy on Mar. 16, 1916. Some of the principal charges held by Rev. Heebner were the following, all in Philadelphia: Mt. Pleasant Ave., Simpson Memorial, St. John’s, Tacony, Port Richmond, and Ridge Avenue, Roxborough, which charge he had at the time of his death. He also served the Shenandoah M. E. Church at Shenandoah, Pa,
