[74-40] MARY GROFF, b Aug. 27, 1785; d July 6, 1814; dau Jacob and Elizabeth (Heebner) Groff [74-9]; m by pastor of Indian Creek Reformed Church, Mar. 13, 1803, to JOHN LEIDY, b Mar. 9, 1780; d Sept. 22, 1838; s Jacob and Feronica (Schell) Leidy.

John Leidy was a tanner and lived in Hilltown Twp., Pa. In 1863 he moved to Chalfont, Pa. Both John Leidy and his wife are buried in Leidy’s Cem., Franconia Twp., Montg. Co., Pa.
