.George Yeakel lived in Lower Salford Twp., Pa., as shown by following deed given by his executors:
This Indenture made the 23rd day of Dec. 1743 between Abraham Wagner of Norriton in the County of Phila. yeoman and Caspar Kribell of Towamensing in the said county yeoman executors of the last will and Testament of George Jekill late of Salford deceased and Regina Jekill widow mother of the sd George Jekill and Anna Wagner of Norriton aforesaid widow mother-in-law of the sd George Jekill they the said Regina and Anna being the residuary and devises named in the said last will and Testament of the one part and Christopher Weegner of Salford aforesaid of the other part £122 lawful money.
A certain tract or piece of land situate in Salford afsd beginning at a marked Black Oak in a line of land late of Thomas Wilson and Samuel Dickinson and from thence extending by the same S. E. 101 perches to a post thence by Luckens land S. W. 168 perches to a marked White Oak thence by Wendell Hovers land N. W. 101 perches to a post thence by the land lately granted or intended to be granted to George Kribell and Chris. Kribell N. E. 168 perches to place of beginning containing 160 acres (part of 170 acres which Caspar Wistar and Catherine his wife by Indenture and release bearing date in or about the month of March 1735 did grant unto Baltzer Jekill Father of the sd George Jekill in Fee Virtue whereof or of some other good and lawful conveyance assinnee duly had and executed the sd Balt-zer Jekill became in his lifetime lawfully seized of and in the sd 170 acres with appurtenances in his Demesne as of Fee and being so seized died Intestate leaving Issue his only son the sd. George Jekill and four daughters to wit: Anna, Susanna, Maria and Rosina and his widow the said Regina Jekill and the sd Anna Susanna Maria and Rosina by indenture of the 15th day of February 1739 granted four full equal and undivided sixth parts and all and every other of their parts and parts of and in the said Messuage plantation 170 acres of land and premises with appurtenances unto the sd George Jekill in Fee and the sd Regina Jekill by the same last mentioned Indenture released all her Dower and rights and Title of Dower of in and to the same plantation land and premises unto the sd Geo. Jekill and to his heirs and assigns and the sd first indenture being burnt or otherwise destroyed so that the same is not to be found they the sd Caspar Wistar and Catherine his wife by a certain Deed poll under their hands and Seals duly executed did Grant remise release and Confirm all that the sd 170 acres etc.

with their children. Christoph Schubert was a brother of David Schubert [E 75]; they lived in German-
town; place of burial not known. He was a recipient of the Charity Fund in 1767.

"In the month of January, 1768 in Germantown the wife of old Christopher Schubert died, as did also young David Schubert." [Perk. Reg., Vol. III, p 155.]
In a letter written by Melchior Schultz, dated Hereford, June, 1767, he says: "Christopher Schubert is poor and lives with his relatives in Germantown, where the highway passes through, and he seems dissatisfied to live there. His brother, David Schubert, lives near Christopher Jackel, four miles from Germantown."
