John Brecht was a farmer and lived in Worcester Twp., Pa., on the ‘Israel Schultz’? homestead. He helped to organize the Farmers’ Creamery Association of Centre Point, the People’s National Bank of Norristown, and the Girard Ave. Farmers’ Market Co. of Phila., serving as director in all these institutions from the time of their organization until his death. After retiring from farming, Mr. Brecht removed to Norristown, Pa., where his widow still resides. (1920.)
