[38] DAVID JACKELwas b about 1659 and lived prior to the migration in Nieder Harpersdorf. He came to Pa. in 1734 and was on the sick list when he landed (cf. Signatures Oath of Allegiance). No record of the death of David Yeakel nor that of his wife has been found, but it is known that he was a widower at the time of his arrival in Pa. As he was about 75 years of age at the time of his arrival, it is probable that he lived with his children who settled in Macungie, Pa., and he is doubtless buried there. Six sons and two daughters are accounted for in Pa., but, according to the Harpersdorf Church Records, there were twelve children (cf. Regent Cat. Schwenkfeldianorum, p 64), and the name of his wife was SUSANNA HEYDRICK.
The following data regarding his children has been discovered.
