[43-12] ISAAC MASTER, b Jan. 23, 1787; d June 21, 1853; s Christopher and Christina (Yeakel) Meschter [43-1]; m May 11, 1809, MARY CLEMENCE, d May 26, 1870. Isaac Master moved to Canada soon after his marriage.

Isaac Master migrated to Canada from Chester Co., Pa. He was the grandson of Gregorius Meister, one of the original Schwenkfelders who came to Pa. in 1734. His father, Christopher, the eldest son of Gregorius, was born on the Sit. Andrew while crossing the ocean. Five generations of Masters in direct descent are buried in the old family burying ground in Blenheim Twp., viz. Isaac Master, John Master, Isaac Master, John Master, and William Ewart Master.
