[49-305a] HARRISON W. HARTRANFT, b Aug. 27, 1841; s Jacob W. and Mary (Weaver) Hartranft [49-93]; m Feb. 25, 1862, BARBARA BEACH, b Feb. 14, 1840; dec. Mr. and Mrs. Hartranft celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1912.

Harrison W. Hartranft enlisted in the State Militia asa volunteer in the Civil War, from Laneaster Co., Pa., in the Army of Re-enforcement, to drive Gen. Lee out of Maryland. He was honorably discharged ‘when the emergency was over.

Harrison W. Hartranft lived successively in i Berks, Lancaster, Luzerne, Berks, Lehigh, Luzerne, and Philadelphia Counties, Pa. He was also an Evangelist.
