[49-93] JACOB W. HARTRANFT, b Sept. 11, 1811; d June 14, 1894; s John and Elizabeth (Bucher) Hartranft [49-32]; m June 9, 1833, MARY WEAVER, b Aug. 15, 1815; d June 3, 1895. Mary Weaver Hartranft was the daughter of Jacob Weaver who was an iron master and at one time owned all the forges and blast furnaces-at Glasgow, Pa.

Jacob W. Hartranft moved from Berks Co. to Martinville, Lancaster Co., to Luzerne Co., to Berks Co., to Luzerne Co., where he died and is buried in St. Johns Cem., Seibertsville, Pa. First 14 children were born in Berks Co.; Martin Luther Hartranft was born at Martinville, Lane. Co.
