[11-4] BARBARA KRAUSS, b July 22, 1742; d Nov. 24, 1821; dau Balthasar and Susanna (Hoffman) Krauss [11-1]; m Dec. 10, 1770, GEORGE URFFER, b July 20, 1735; d May 5, 1794; s Michael Urffer who was b in Alsace, Germany. George Urffer came to Pa., Aug. 24, 1765. He lived where the boro of East Greenville, Pa., now stands. Both the towns of East Greenville and part of Pennsburg are built on land formerly owned by him.
