Children (6):
“Jacob Yeakle was born in Springfield Twp., Montg. Co., Pa. Very few educational opportunities were enjoyed by Mr. Yeakle in his youth as he had very little opportunity to attend school. He wasa successful farmer, devoting his attention principally to dairying and marketing in Philadelphia. He is said to have been a man of marked integrity of whom it might be said with truth that ‘his word was as good as his bond.’ His opinion was much respected in questions of weight, and his services were often desired in the settlement of estates and in the capacity of executor.” [Bean— Hist. of Monig. Co., p 1080.]
