Susanna (Schubert) Hartranft, widow of Abraham Hartranft, m Michael Seidel, Apr. 15, 1776, and died at the house of her son John in Phila., Dec. 29, 1779. [W. A. Y.]
The old Gen. Record gives date of death of Susanna Schubert Hartranft as 1762; but Gov. Hartranft notes give date of death as 1779, which seems the more logical.
Data of this family could not be verified. [Vid. Auge’s Men of Montg. Co., Pa., 1879, p 620.]
Since the chapter on the Homes and Burial Places of the Schwenkfelders was completed there has been found in the ‘Weiser Papers’’, drafts and surveys of land made by David Schultz which show that Abraham Hartranft owned 42 acres, 25 perches of a parcel of land, containing 201 acres, 119 perches, but the tract has not been located.
