On Nov. 27, 1827, letters of administration were issued in Bucks Co. for the estate of Abraham Hartranft; settlement was filed in 1828; names mentioned: Elizabeth, Leonard, Sarah, Jacob; —there is no record of a distribution. Was this the above named Abraham Hartranft [49-18]?
The name of Abraham Hartranft is found in Marlborough Twp. in the lists of 1779, 1780, 1789; name not found in the census list of 1790. His name is also found amongst the lists of Communicants of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill, Pa., from 1795-99. He is given as a ‘“Non-Associator’ in Pa. Arch., 2d Series, Vol. XIV, p 29.
